Tuckered Out!

Hubby and I have been Christmas shopping and I don't mind telling you, I'm tuckered out! Buying for 12 grandchildren and 2 other kiddo's is a lot of shopping!!! We still have a few more to get. We did get the house cleaned up today top to bottom all but the stamp room and the tree is going in the window this evening if we don't run out of gas :O) Ugghh still have to wrap all those presents!

Miracles Do Happen

Just want to let you know that miracle's do happen :O) I know at Christmas time folks think about the Lord and giving and receiving. The thing is God is here for us everyday. We don't always understand everything, but if you believe God does answer our prayers! He may not answer them the way we want, but it's in his time, not ours. We had a prayer answered this week, and it was miracle in our life, Thank you Lord!

I'm so thankful that my parents raised me to know the Lord and to learn and see all his wonderful miracle's through the years. 

Today would have been Mom's 80th birthday, and I miss her so much. She was such a wonderful, elegant lady. She loved and taught so many as a Minister's wife, and treated all as if they were her children. She set a wonderful example of how a person should act throughout life. I could not ask for a better Mother anywhere.

I know there are folks out there who are not as lucky as I have been with such wonderful parents. Loving and giving, caring everyday. I know that my parents always said, if I am not doing what you think I should do as a parent, then do it with your children. If you see mistakes I have made, then don't do it with yours. What wonderful advice. 
Mom loved Christmas, and every Christmas Eve all the kids and grandkids & great grandkids, would go to Mom and Dad's and Mom would sit and read the children The Night Before Christmas. Even the youngest would sit there on Mom's lap and listen quietly to her read. It was so wonderful and would bring joy and tears to your eyes. Christmas has not been the same since. All I know is that all the little children in heaven this Christmas will be sitting on Grandma Dot's lap and listening to The Night Before Christmas :O) That's what I think of when I think of my Mom and how she would do in Heaven. She would love all the little children and take care of them :O) 
Love you Mom, and miss You SOOO much! Happy Birthday!

  Hello All! I decided to do a card with a stamp I picked up at Archiver's. This stamps is from Northwood's Stamps...oh I forgot to get the name of it!

I used paper from Recollections Paper Pad "Warm Wishes"

I colored the image with Copic Markers and use snow pen & diamond stickles.

I also used Crackle Paint Picket Fence on the snowflakes and flowers.

I don't know about Christmas time for all of you but we have cardinals here at Christmas :O)

Waiting on my cryogen paper to come in the mail....itching to color!

I am waiting on cryogen paper to come in the mail....have new images, I'm itching to color :O)

I usually use Gina K .... thought I would use cryogen for a while. I hope it comes soon. I have new images from Saturated Canary, and I can't wait to get them colored and on a card! 
It's hard to change once you get use to using a certain paper. I still can't seem to get distress inks to turn out the way I think they should. I'll keep trying :O)

Grandson's will be here soon...so I'd better get off here and get ready!

Whoo Hoo my paper came today! I am calling the post office tomorrow, and chewing them out, so it won't happen again...yes, you guessed it....it was in a flat rate envelope...yep! they bent it to put it in our mailbox! It's a miracle that it didn't hurt my paper. The envelope is torn and bent, but my paper is o.k.....arrgghh!!!
How many brain cells does it take, that when you don't know what is in a flat rate envelope, don't bend it! Can you tell I haven't had any sleep! I may calm down tomorrow, but I gotta vent right now! Jeez Louise!!

A funny thing my grandson did today :O) He got up on papaw's lap and wanted papaw to read him a story. Well papaw had to put his eyeballs on (reading glasses) turn on the lamp (so he could see to read) I'm thinking 2 yrs. old, is going to give up before papaw gets started...but he hung in there! :O) I get the camera out trying to get a sneak peek shot of Papaw & Jonathan...Jonathan looks at me and says: CHEEEEEESEEEE! I took the picture and I may upload it tomorrow, too tired tonight! I had to laugh!

I decided to make a Happy Birthday Card.

As you can see I put rhinestone on her fishing pole. Just cause we are girls, we still love to be dainty and at the same time be a Tomboy :O)

My rotten kitty LUCY ....

Here's my spoiled rotten kitty Lucy. Lucy is growing so fast! SEE THIS FACE! oh! don't let her fool you....She loves her new cat tree. 

It's been really tough stamping, she wants to play with everything, so I gave her an empty ribbon spool and an empty cardboard box. I'm trying to teach her to stay off my stamp table, ugghh I guess we will eventually get there, but she could have her own little party when I'm stamping :O)

I have been working on cards, and they are done, but I can't post them till Thursday and Friday.

Thursday will be a card for Little Miss Muffet

and 

Friday will be a card for Just Wordz.

sooo.... I guess you all are just going to have to wait. I'm trying to get them all done for this month so I can enjoy the Holidays. I still don't have my tree up. It's only a tiny fiber optic for the bay window, and all I have to do is get it out, fluff it up and plug it in....am I bad!

Oh, I have seen so many gorgeous cards!!!! There is never enough time to make cards, blog, and leave comments on all the blogs! Just know, I've been looking and oh my!!! Love all the gorgeous cards out there! So many talented ladies & gents!!!

My daughter is now sick! There's such a horrible bug going around, and it's been a tough one! I'm so hoping and praying I don't get it, it seems everyone is sick or has been sick! 

My hubby is still having bad headaches, starting to really worry me :( He is in bed, and I need to be making cards. Worra worra!

I need to put our tree up and just can't seem to get in the Christmas spirit...although we did hang a snowman plaque on the front door and put a couple of snowmen outside. We use to put lights inside and out, and now we're lucky to put anything out at all. Hopefully it will kick in soon! Got to for the grandbabies :O)

I hope the lady at Walmart last night feels good today after running over my heels 3 times!!!

Last night had to pick up things at Walmart. Well of course it's their Sale, and the place was packed. Went to pick up a few things. A lady is on her cell phone, runs over my heels 3 times....I was ready to blow. If looks could kill she would not be here :O) Couldn't help it! She runs over my heals 2 times,  I turn around she says "sorry" then she does it again....on her cell phone, not paying attention. 

My 2 yr. old grandson is really sick and my daughter was here at 4 a.m. with him, and they are trying to get him in to ENT...he's been on different kinds of antibiotics and nothing is working. My daughter has had no sleep, if she does it's hit and miss, and he only wants his Momma. His little throat and ears were blood red, and the shot made them a little better but not as well as the doctor thought they should be. He doesn't sleep. 

So praying that God touches his little body or they can get him into ENT or find out what's causing him to be so sick.

Sorry I'm not getting comments out like I should right now!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I hope you are all having a wonderful Thanksgiving! 

My 2 year old grandson has been a very sick little guy. The doctor gave him a shot yesterday, can't remember the name of it, but it's what they give for Meningitus. (spelling?). My daughter last night, got on the phone and text everyone she knew to pray for him. He started feeling better, but a sick little guy and a rough night. He finally ate a little and she's having to put fever reduces in his sprite and drinks because he vomits it up if she gives it to him plain. I'm hoping he does better tonight. Goes back to Doctor in the morning. He's at least drinking liquids now. 

I guess the shot was really painful, and his brother started screaming and crying at the doctor's office because Jonathan was crying and screaming after the shot...so I think it would have been good Utube moment...they were both screaming at the Dr. office...my daughter and son n law were needless to say sweating after leaving the office. 

On the way home, Jonathan kept saying Ouchie Mommy, sorry over an over again, his little bottom hurt so bad. So all you praying folks, keep him in your prayers because he's still running a temp. These day you don't know whether to try to wait it out or get them to ER! I'm thankful he's finally drinking fluids!!!

I just got it finished and was trying to get all the shine in the photo, but being evening time, already dark outside, and even kind of dark in here today, just couldn't get the shine in the photo like it is in person. It is so much prettier in person.

Little Miss Muffet Challenges Thankful/Gratitude

Holidays.....Won't let life get me down!!!

Oh, so many thoughts today! Thanksgiving a couple of days away and this year, we are not having a family dinner :(  None of our family have the money for the expense of a big dinner, nor do we have a house big enough for 5 children, spouses, girlfriends, and 14 kiddo's! 

Thanksgiving is about being thankful, and I'm thankful that we have each other. We keep each other going the best we can :O) It's really hard sometimes, but it is what it is!

I have 2 grandson's right now who are really sick little fellows, and they need your prayers please. These terrible virus's going around are pretty nasty and hard on little ones as well as adults.

I'm thankful that our kids understand that we love each other and that's what is important. 

Since my Mom has been gone the last couple of years, the Holiday's are just not the same. Mom & Dad always had a house big enough for all of us, crowded, but it worked, and of course. We all pitched in with a big dish and it was good. 

Christmas is probably going to be the same. I'm thankful that my grandchildren understand. I know last year they took one of my son's 4 kiddo's to shop with a cop. My grandson Benjamin who is 10 this year, got clothes, coat, and he was so tickled. They told him he still had money left, he told them, I'm good, give it to one of the other kids. It made me so proud!!! 

That's when you know, they know the true spirit of giving, and loving! I'm glad they know that God is good and he is there for them! 

I'm truly Thankful!!!!
