Happy Birthday to my Grandson Benjamin

Happy Birthday to my grandson Benjamin. He is growing up so fast! Took him shopping yesterday tto pick out his present...
Today my Mom has been gone 3 years, can't believe it's been 3 years, seems like yesterday...Miss her so much!
So today is a happy-sad day for me...but I know she is in a much, much better place :O)
Hope everyone has a great weekend...
I'm cleaning house, and burning up, it's already so hot and humid out, and yep storms are here and there in the State, but not here so far!

Crazy Weather !!!!

Well let's see...it's been pouring and storming all evening. Siren's went off again! No damage for us, but there has been damage and flooding elsewhere! Jeez, I've always been somewhat afraid of storms, but only when it's super bad and windy, but these days, I am!!! Listening to the weather now, hoping it has let up for a while. I colored images since it's been storming...not going to sit in front of the window in the stamp room with crazy weather like this :O)
I guess it's supposed to get really hot now....:( One days it's in the 50's and the next day darn near 80 degrees...again crazy!!!

Storms, storms and more storms!!!

It's been a crazy afternoon for weather. We had to go to Greenwood to pick up hubby's medicine. Since we were in the area, we went to Archiver's and I picked up a couple of die's. I had coupons for 43% off. Hubby bought a die for me and I got one. I found a pretty shade of blue embossing powder, and of course more papers...I'm bad, I don't need more paper, but oh! I always see something I like.
Anywho, after going to Archiver's we went to Chick f-let and while sitting in the parking lot eating, the siren's went off, came on home, and they went off again!
Looks like a night of storms ahead too! The Voice is on tonight so don't know if I'll get a card done or not, may just color more images...hmmm we will see what the evening holds......

I'm trying to get back in the "groove" oh man, it's been tough! I colored an image, and ripped it up...I was finally able to get several images inked and colored, we'll see how fast I get them made into a card :O)

I used the new Distress Limited color....Peacock Feathers.

Just got home from ER again....hubby this time...!

Oh man! When it rains it pours. Hubby has been having pain in his side and back since yesterday...went to ER have been there forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He has kidney stones and gall stones...gave him meds for kidney stones, has to see surgeon for gall stones....egads!!!! Thankful that it's something that can be fixed :O) Worra Worra!!!

When I make Mother's Day Cards, I always think of my Mom. Oh how I miss her so much, and don't think it's ever going to get easier! Losing her on May 4th, right before Mother's Day and my Grandson's birthday, it's tough....but I know my Mom is looking down from Heaven and wishing us the best and watching over us! I was so blessed to have a Wonderful Mother!!!

Shopping today :O)

Oh, went shopping today.  Finally picked up some watercolor paper and a couple more distress inks. Now to put it altogether :O) I am going to give another go at distress and coloring an image...wish me luck :O) Also picked up a couple of paint brushes and hopefully they work better than a water brush. It seems the water brush wants to stay too wet! Hopefully I will have another card soon.
I finally with hubby's help got the windows cleaned and the new mini blinds up. Tried to last week and it didn't work out, with Dad in the hospital and my daughter in ER too. If things stay calm I will get a card or two done. I do need to clean closets and then spring cleaning will be done, yeah!!!! Oh! almost forgot, hubby's steins need taken down and washed too...not looking forward to that, he has a bunch of them!!!
I was so upset yesterday thinking I wouldn't get to blog anymore, I was so stressed. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I couldn't blog anymore.....

Gosh Darn It!!!

Gosh darn it!!! I have everyone trying to help me, and so appreciate it, but doggone, nothing is working...I can view comments and I see where to post, but to find the dashboard, can't find it :( It make take me a year to figure it out. Mine doesn't look like it's supposed to in the doggone tutorials...figures!!! I'm too old for this crap!!! Can you tell I'm totally frustrated, gosh darn my blood pressure is going to be through the roof by the time I figure this out, if I figure it out :(

Sorry folks....I guess until blogger changes this, I'm done blogging!

I can't figure out how to bring the dashboard up, blog is all messed up, this may be the end of me folks!!!

ARGHHHH ARGGHHH ARGHHH Had trouble with Blogger UGGHHH!!!

When I first tried to get on this thing today, ugghh gave me fits. Getting tired of Blogger changing things, because then I'm lost!!! If they don't quit this stuff, I guess I won't be blogging.... :(
I have been searching for Hanglar stamps, can't find where to purchase them, and the hanglar site does not work....
Getting frustrated with Magnolia stamps...love them, but get tired of folks getting all the new ones way before everyone else does.....
So guess I will be looking for new images to love and use!!!
Didn't sleep well last night and sure that has something to do with my mood today...sorry sometimes you just have to VENT....I'm venting :O)

It's been a rough day! Got a call saying my Dad had a stroke...I think it's his heart. Going to call tomorrow and get him in to his heart doctor! We spent all afternoon at ER and a hospital that he doesn't usually go to :( Sooo please keep him in your prayers, he is at home, but he's real weak, but doing better!

4-9-2012 Dad is doing better today..goes to heart Dr. Wednesday afternoon. Didn't sleep last night, was worried about him..........He was so feeble yesterday, breaks my heart!
