Blizzard Heading Our Way :(
Well, we made it through Christmas :) Hubby and I have been sitting at home this evening watching Christmas movies. I've been laying on the couch in my sweats and covered up with a super soft blanket.
Starting about 1 a.m. we have a blizzard coming in. We could get 14 inches because we are right in the middle of it. Of course, it can changed but so far doesn't look like that's going to happen. We forgot to get milk before we went to my daughter's and we stopped at drugstores and gas stations, no milk. And of course, Walmart is closed...they never close for long but tonight they are till 6 a.m. and well that may be a little bit too late....so no milk! We did get cat food because our kitty will not eat a bite of anything at all, only cat food. We've tried everything!
I finally got an image colored between visits last night....I guess that's better than nothing.
Last night we played Santa and took things to my daughters for the kiddos from Santa. Papaw Santa ate cookies and milk.
Everyone stay safe and warm!
Hugs! Leah Ann

Twas the Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Merry Christmas Everyone
Hello All,
Just wanted to take the time to wish each and every one of you a Very Merry Christmas. I hope you are all enjoying your families. Hoping that all are well, safe, happy, warm and lots of joy and peace!
I've been spending time with my family. Lots of things going on for me right now I've been helping my daughter and watching my grandson. She has had some medical issues, and right now she is my top priority. She had her surgery and now waiting for results.
Today we spent some time with my Dad and my oldest son and his two children. First we had my granddaughter Gracie's birthday party, then they opened their Christmas presents. Had a great night!
Tomorrow my daughter and grandson will be here. Will be helping watch my grandson while her hubby is at work.
It's been pretty chilly here and a little snow from the snow storm we had. Wow! Did we ever have some strong winds with it. Thought it was going to blow us away there for a while. We didn't get a lot of snow, but it had rained and then started snowing, but I think the wind was so strong it blew the snow right out of this county into the next one :)
I'm hoping to be able to make a few cards after Christmas. Right now just have not had the time.
My hubby bought another shelf for my stamp room. Have it set up and filled up already.
I'm sorry I have not been around commenting, but just have not had the time.
I hope you are all doing well, and have the best Christmas ever!!!
Hugs! Leah Ann

Kind of Tired!
I am baby sitting my 3 year old grandson right now, so I haven't made cards or been blogging much lately. He is super good, it's just I'm feeling super old :)
I've been a bit down and depressed lately and having trouble getting in the mood to color or anything :(
I had to remove my Stampin Up post, it seems I'm not allowed to.
Someone was so nice to turn me in, it would have been nice if they would have just told me!
I guess they are afraid I'll take their business. Well mostly I do it for myself, although I do have a few great customers.
I didn't know! I couldn't post it....
If people knew the things that are going on in my life right now, they might be a little more kind, not sure!
Jeez! Sometimes you feel you just can't get a break.
These kinds of things build up till I'm ready to just quit blogging. I'm not a person who enjoys the drama. I've had enough drama in my life to last me a life time or two!
So now I'm even more depressed and thinking more and more about just giving it up.
Anyway.........what else can I say :(
