Got a New Couch and Loveseat replaced today, not without a lot calls & emails!

My Dad bought a couch and loveseat a year ago. It was just not holding up at all. Called the store where purchased and they wanted to send it in for a week and wait to have it restuffed! A don't think I wanted to sit on the floor for a week or more :O) I told them, look, restuffing will not work the material is to stretchy and it will do the same thing. Even emailed the company who makes them, nothing. So I was a tad bit upset and thought o.k...stuck! Well, a few prayers and a couple of days later, we get a call from the store we bought it and they said, we want you to come in a pick out something else, and we will replace it and order you another one! So, today it came, and I'm so glad. It's only me and my husband most of the time, except for the kids and grandkids visiting and they respect our home. Went with microfiber because I know it holds up, had it before. My Dad bought us this furniture, and we gave our other couch to our son that had just went through a divorce and had no furniture at all. So the Lord has blessed and took care of us once again. I appreciate the Lord, and all his goodness! Just had to get on here and Thank the Lord today!

Only high of 60 degrees today....just thinking of all the birthday's we have in Oct.!

Well, it's not even October, and the leaves are starting to turn. It's been chilly for the last 3 weeks of the evening's even when it gets warm in the day. Rain the last few days, and cloudy, then sunny, then cloudy :O) I love the fall, but I'm sure not ready for cold weather.
Sept. had my sister's, step daughter's Birthday's on the 24th & one of my nephew's birthday the 30th, also a great nephew's birthday was Sept 11th.
October has lot's of birthday's for us, more birthday's this month than any other month. Oct. 1 is one of my nieces, Oct 9 is one of my nephew's, Oct 13th is my 2 yr. old grandson, October 24th is my birthday and my oldest granddaughter's Jozey's birthday, and I can't believe she will be 16 and driving soon, man do I feel old.Yep! She made me 40 and Grandma (double whammy) all in the same day:O) The best present a person can get :O) Hope I'm not forgetting anyone (think?)
November, I have a grandson on the 8th, a son n law the 29th. Then Dec. have a 2 granddaughter's with birthday's on on the 18th and the 29th, a step son the 7th, and it would have been Mom's on the 4th. In the meantime Christmas the 25th. 
So, I need to win the lottery soon! :O) I guess you have to play to win? ugghh! The only month we don't have a birthday is January, thank goodness! Jeez!

After adding your picture and save. Go back to the picture on your blog, and click to edit and hit Save again, and it will go down to the smaller size. Makes it look so much better!

If Xfinity keeps raising our bill, don't know how much longer I can keep internet :(

Got our Xfinity bill today and it was $30 higher...uugghh, they keep raising prices, I'm afraid TV, internet and phone will either be a luxury we won't have or, find a different company, or companies. I don't know what they expect people to do. Keep raising prices, and so many out of work, and the economy is the pits. Higher food prices, gas prices, but wages keep getting lowered, or no work. FEEL LIKE AN ANGRY BIRD today !!!

Grandson Jonathan's 2nd Birthday Card Caillou

 Jonathan's 2nd Birthday Card. Jonathan loves Caillou. So I went to the website, found coloring pages, cropped it, colored him with Copic's. I am going to laminate the card because I know he will carry it around, and I don't want him to get choked on it if he happens to put it in his mouth. He knows every word to the songs. It's his favorite show :O)  I still have to finish the inside, but I thought I would share it with you. I'm going to put a picture of him on the inside, and find a verse I like for him.  I thought it turned out really cute :O) No frills for the little guy, want him to enjoy his card, and not have something to get choked on :O)

Roaring 20's Bride that I crocheted

 

This is my Roaring 20's Bride that I crocheted. This is a Paradise Doll Kit. She is crocheted with pearl thread, beads, and sequins. The first time I have ever crocheted with beads or sequins.

 Isn't she a beautiful doll!
My husband got this kit for me for our Anniversary a few years back, that's what I wanted :O)
Like stamping, there is more to crocheting than just doilies and afghan's.
