Went to Hobby Lobby and Michael's today. First time I've bought card supplies in 2 years. It was so nice! didn't get a lot but I did pick up a few things.
I have 10 cards ready to decorate tomorrow. I cut and sewed them and Don cut diecuts for me, which help me a lot!
I guess we are as close as possible getting back to the new normal.
Two years ago this month, Don had his first amputation below the knee, then in August they had to go ahead and go above the knee.
It changes your life completely! Includes what you can do, where you can go, your friends, family, everything.
We have had rain here everyday, it seems like forever. A little tired of the rain, but I'm afraid to complain because it could go the other direction, so I'll just say it's rained everyday :)
Hugs! Leah Ann

Hi Leah Ann, your story is so much like my mom and dad's. I did not know your hubby had to have a second amputation. I saw the effects it had on my mom. My dad had his leg amputated as well. My mom took care of him for over two years until she had to have triple bypass surgery. I lost my hubby of 36 years it was a year this past Jan. Everything is so hard now. I am so glad you are back into your cards. And that your hubby helps with the die-cuts. That is wonderful. Keep your head up and I am so glad to see you creating again. Hugs, joann
