Hubby is having to go for treatments for his foot for the next 30 days, so I will have about 4 hrs. each day to stamp....today I cleaned house first, but tomorrow, I think I will be able to stamp most of the time ...

Happy Memorial Day...Stay Safe, Have Fun, & Remember What it means :O)

Hubby and I have had a super busy day...first he went and picked up his new glasses, went to Hobby Lobby to pick up flowers for both our Mom's graves and I also picked up supplies for the invitations. We had lunch at Captain D's, then put flowers on hubby's Mom's grave, then went to Wound Care...and now he has to go into this chamber thingy, can't remember what it's called but it's pure oxygen and it's supposed to help his foot heal. Then on the way home there was a wreck on 65, so it took us forever to get home....stayed here for a few minutes then went and put flowers on my Mom's grave and then it was time for supper. After we ate I made another invitation so now she has 3 to choose from, look at and get ideas if she doesn't like these...hoping to make the perfect wedding invitation...so now it's late and I'm tuckered out and just about ready to go lay down and read till I get sleepy :O) Tomorrow we go to our son's for a cookout and I can't wait to eat hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill!

Working on my son and daughter in law to be's wedding invitations :O)

I am working on my son and daughter in law to be's Wedding Invitations. I found the exact color of card stock that she wanted today...just waiting to see if she likes the font...and then I'll make a couple of different ones and let her choose or change them however she likes...getting excited for them!!! Shea has her dress, and it's beautiful. The invitations are not going to be fancy because that's what she wants. They are going to be simple but so far what I have look very nice.
I have colored several Tilda's and bought paper last week to get them on cards soon, but trying to get invitations made and out of the way first.
American Idol is on soon, and going to see who wins tonight, pulling for Phillip!!!
Other than it being in the 80's today, that's about it :O)

Had a Blast!!!

Well I had a blast tonight :O) I only ended up spending $12 tonight and hours of fun...hubby now did pretty darn good and so tonight didn't really cost us anything and we left with extra money in our pockets! We went with our dear friends, Omer and Margaret...I didn't have a clue what to expect, oh but it was so much fun! We had the buffet for supper which was super good...I do however know which machine I am getting on the next time I go....!!! :O)
 Years ago hubby and I were just out for a drive...when one of the first Casino's came to our state, we went in looked around because it was free to park and we just wanted to see it. Had only $5 on us, soooo we ended up riding up and down the river because it was so new they didn't have our bank set up to get cash...

Wish me luck :O)

Going to the Casino with friends....wish me luck....never been and well my luck is horrible....maybe today is the turn around ....  wishful thinking :O)

Blogger is getting on my last nerve!!!

For the last two days I have not been able to bring my dashboard up....arrgghhh....getting on my last nerve...! What good is blogger if you can't bring it up :( Don't know if everyone is having problems, or just me!!!!

Oh I find being a Mom hard sometimes :O) I would not change it for anything!!! 

Thankful that I had a wonderful Mother, and I miss her very much!

As a Mom we love unconditionally and with all our hearts. I know myself I look back at many things and wish I would have done this or that different....but I wouldn't change being a Mom. 

I have been blessed with great kiddo's and grandkiddo's :O)

 Scrappin It Blog Candy and Tell about Blessings in Your Life.....

I have so many blessings in my life and I owe it to... 1st my parents, who taught me to Love the Lord, and that all my blessings come through Him. They set my feet on a Rock to stay, and so many times He has brought me through trials, ups and downs and things that I could not see my way through! In turn it let me teach my children also about God's love, and I'm truly thankful. Although our children don't always follow the right path, I know that they know about Him and what He can do for them, and that He can see them through. The wonderful thing is that it carries down through generation after generation, so blessed! I am so blessed with friends that I have made blogging. I truly count on blogging and my fellow stamper's for inspiration...not only in cardmaking and scrapbooking but in things that they have come through or are going through. I could go on and on because I have tons of blessings in my life :O)

Thanks for putting my mind on Blessings in My Life! No matter how down or what someone is going through, if we just think about our Blessings, how it can change your thoughts to a positive and take away the negative :O)
